Over a year and a half since I signed up, and have yet to make a first post! Actually, I forgot about this blog that Jameson and I set up yet never used. We will correct that beginning today!
I guess the purpose of this blog is to unwind, download my thoughts for any given day about any given subject, and connect with my family and friends. We are always looking for channels to help bring us closer, and the current craze is Facebook. Not sure I am really high on that concept, but it is good for seeing snapshots of others' daily lives as well as sharing pictures (when I rememeber to take them) with my family.
So what's new in my life? Well, my pride and joy - yes, my gameroom - is almost completed. The AV tower should be here this week, I need to purchase a couple of bar stools and a pub table, and a mounting rack to hang my flatscreen on the wall. Eddie wants to get really elaborate, but hey, let's face it, it's a third bedroom not Wings Sports bar, so we'll roll with what we have. making a space that size seem bigger is paramount to the success of the room, and I don't want to bog it down with (unneccessary) clutter.
Spring practice started for Bama today. I am pretty pumped about that, as it has been nearly three months since the last game and a solid five months until kick-off - ugh. We are doing some neat things personnel wise, and it will be interesting to see where positions such as O-line, QB, and Safety end up. After two #1 classes, it should be hawt. Saban went off on the fans yesterday, and it was all the buzz on radio this morning, but anyone with common sense could see it was done to focus the team on NOT resting on our laurels. 2009 Is going to be a tremendous year in Bama history. Bank it.
